Without question, one of the most significant segments of the global, leisure-travel market is that of tours. Major tourism associations believe that the package tour produc twill continue to be highly popular with the traveling public. Social trends predict that a large portion of the growth of tour products will be in “partly packaged” holidays, customized holidays and dynamic packaging, while interest in traditional all-inclusive tour packages may drop.

A tour package can be defined as any form of travel from place to place, with multiple features that can be packaged and sold as single units.
